November 3 – November 6, 2018
We have access to 80 private and secluded acres in West Central Minnesota. Minnesota is well known for its Whitetail Deer and has consistently ranked in the top ten Pope and Young states. These 80 acres are home to an excellent number of deer, as well as a good numbers of bear, turkey, and grouse. The property is sandwiched between corn and alfalfa fields making it a huge transitional corridor for these animals.
Wake up to the crisp cool morning air and the sound of turkeys gobbling and fall asleep to the sound of loons and an occasional wolf howl. We will be hosting 2 Army Veterans for this rifle only hunt.

Minnesota Rifle Whitetail Hunt, West Central Minnesota
West central Minnesota is well known for its Whitetail deer hunting, rural farm land and small town bars. We have access to a cabin on 80 acres and were excited to be back! The hunting was slow and deer sightings while in the blind, driving around, and on trail camera were minimal to say the least. The weather was rather warm for November and it didn’t snow till the end of the trip. We ended up speaking with a neighbor and he informed us that there were wolves in the area the day we arrived which explains the lack of deer, nevertheless we hunted hard.
Our Veteran did get a shot at a deer but due to nerves and excitement it was a clean miss. The second to last evening I was lucky enough to harvest a very nice buck and our Veteran harvested a couple grouse as well. We gorged ourselves the last night on fresh grouse, tenderloin and backstrap while sitting around the warm cozy wood stove.
